Arrives into the burning empty camp, fights Cao Zun's own men in the dark by mistake, and escapes: 'Cao Zun and Zhu Zan, with more than a hundred of those nearest to them, ran away to get to the high road', are turned back by Zhao Zilong, and still get clear. He is alive at the chapter's end.
