Copies out the prepared memorial with Sima Fu, writes the covering letter Yin Damu carries to Cao Shuang, and supplies the chapter's coolest assessment of the escaped Huan Fan: 'The poor horse always hankers after the old stable and manger. Cao Shuang would not know how to use Huan Fan.' Afterwards asks for Xin Chang, Lu Zhu and Yang Zong to be punished, and is overruled.
